Change your shirt. Change the world.

Although basketball is now a global game, a highlight of my youth was watching the “Dream Team” destory the world on the Olympic hardcourt. Cockiness, selfish play and downright hubris eventually led to some embarrassing finishes, but the ‘92 summer games were the stuff of legend.

Now, quicker than you can say “Pau Gasol”, the world has caught up with us, and all I have left to remember it is:

• Jordan, Johnson and Bird playing on the same team
• This dark blue ringer tee, with red-piping on the sleeves
• A dunk I fondly remember called “The French Facial”
