Thanks to Emmett for modeling. On a totally unrelated note, I found the greatest website. It’s called Bacon Today. I think that’s pretty self-explanatory. As the site says, it’s “daily updates on the world of sweet, sweet bacon.” The only thing I find extremely disturbing, however, is bacon man. It looks like a meat demon. That’s just undignified. Please, show the bacon some respect.
My favorite part of this gigantic lobster is that someone thought it necessary to label it “LOBSTER.” Just in case you were unclear on the identity of this giant red clawed crustacean. (Photo taken by Jessica of Draft Magazine.)
Back: Baits Motel
The shirt was donated by Buddy from the Baits Motel and the Angler’s Restaurant in Searsport, Maine, where I ate so much lobster I thought claws were going to burst out of my stomach. So watch out! You never know where a lobster is going to pop up and attack!
Front of shirt reads “Baits Motel, Anglers Restaurant, Route 1, Searsport Maine, baitsmotel.com”
This Dino Series Predator Pack lets you proclaim your love for all things Jurassic, including the Pteran, Suchomimus, Giganotosaurus, Ceratosaurus, Spinsaurus, Tyrannosaurus, and cute little chicken-like dino Deinonychus. If this shirt is historically accurate, that would mean that all dinosaurs went around with their mouths open. And at least one of them was blue.
Thanks to Emily for modeling!

I think if there’s one shirt that was destined to become a teecycle shirt, it’s this one. Now that enough time has lapsed since SOAP hit theaters, I think we can answer this question honestly:
I realize this is two Madison-related shirts in two days, but what can you do? I’m from Wisconsin. But right now I’m reporting from Lower Alabama, where the garment of choice is not t-shirts, but overalls. Seriously. I’ve never seen so many grown men wearing overalls. Perhaps I should start an Overall-Cycle for Alabamans. (Alabamiacs?) Right now I’m in an ice cream shop and I’m hearing bits and pieces of conversation that includes the words “rehab” “daddy” and “church.” No lie. I think it’s time for me to go now.

Thanks to Jason of LittleTinyFish for modeling this shirt. And let’s not forget what all these recycled shirts are going to support: Webelos Pack 3894! No, wait. Wild parks squirrels! No wait, I mean, Rabies shots! No, wait, I mean the River Revitalization Foundation! That last one is it. Here’s a letter I received from RRF Executive Director Kimberly Gleffe after Teecycle donated 100 Big Ones. And by Big Ones, of course, I mean dollars.
Thank you for your generous donation to the River Revitalization Foundation. Your gift of $100.00 (2 transactions) will directly support our mission, to establish a parkway for public access, walkways, recreation and education, bordering the Milwaukee, Menomonee and Kinnickinnic Rivers; to use the rivers to revitalize surrounding neighborhoods; and to improve water quality.
I appreciate your support of the Foundation, as we continue our efforts as Milwaukee’s urban rivers land trust.
As a 501 (c) 3 organization and in accordance with IRS regulations, your gift is tax deductible as provided by law; no goods or services were received by you in exchange for this gift. Thank you again.
My warm regards,
Kimberly A. Gleffe
Executive Director

P.S. I know that many of you are in London, Denmark and all over the world. But I also know that some of you are just around the corner. Just yesterday a dude who lives a mile away from me bought the Star Wars shirt below. Ironically, his name was Luke. It would have been farther to go to the post office, so I just dropped it off at his apartment and met him in person. He’s a very cool guy who found the site by Googling “T-shirts” and “Milwaukee.”
So if you’re in the area, stop by Sprecher Brewery tonight and have a Firkin beer with me. It’ll be an early birthday present. Prosit!

A brief history of this shirt: Jason, aka Littletinyfish, designed this shirt for OnMilwaukee.com. Then it became property of a professor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, who wore it for a time before I found it at his rummage sale. When I was browsing through his shirts, he was like “Are you Tim?” Apparently he recognized me from my Twitter profile. Then I brought the shirt to this photo shoot, where Jason, aka Littletinyfish, recognized it as the shirt he once designed for OnMilwaukee.com. So he modeled it. And then put some girls wearing MKE shirts in headlocks. True story!
