My sister has a Corolla she calls Smokey, but I like to call Adam, but that’s niether here nor there.
Don’t you love those old Toyota commercials when they would jump in the air and they’d do a freeze frame. I don’t know anyone who is THAT excited about owning a car, but I was jazzed when I found this t-shirt … the stylized geometic silhouette of the Toyota typeface works really well. (Note: A small toyota logo appears on the back between the shoulders).

I read most of R.L. Stine’s seminal Goosebumps books in fifth and sixth grade, before outgrowing it right around Night of the Living Dummy III. But somehow, I missed out on Curse of the Mummy’s Tomb entirely. Must have been absent that day Scolastic book orders were due.

Here’s what I know about this t-shirt:
- There’s a Neighborhood Football League in Chicago
- One of the teams is supported by a Chicago Cook County Sheriff Michael Sheahan
This shirt is a not-quite-greyish tan. It’s a shirt for lovers of both NFL Football and law enforcement: An ideal gift for any Tank Johnson, Lance Briggs, or Cedric Benson fans in your family.
Oh yeah, and you can occasionally read more grumblings about the Chicago Bears and other stuff by me here.

This shirt works great at the bars as a solid conversation starter or if you’re just hanging around Atwater Park looking for some younger meat. All I know is, it works better than a van.

(ohhh yeah, it says “American Eagle” on the sleeve too.)

Chris Farley, whose quote from “Tommy Boy” adorns this shirt, went to college at my alma matter. There’s a story about his Marquette days that has been passed down, though I can’t vouch for its accuracy. Goes like this:
Farley was supposed to give a “How To” speech in his communications class. Farley came in on the day of his presentation with a full can of beer. He just popped it open, chugged it, smashed the can on his forehead… then walked out. Never said a word.
Like I said, can’t say if it true.
