I took this photo in early November, and already the Holiday Shopping Tree was up at Bayshore Mall. Quick! Everyone buy crap that no one really wants and will probably get thrown away two days after Christmas! Or, here’s a better idea, grow a mustache for better prostate health. Yes, you can actually do that. November, aka Movember, is official grow-a-mustache-for-prostate-health-awareness month. Learn more here.

Well, it looks like Teecycle might set another traffic record again today. I kinda have mixed feelings about it all. I’ll feel better when I’m not sleep deprived from packaging Teecycle mailings for all the people around the world who loved recycled T-shirts. But the best news is it’s chalking up more cash for the River Revitalization Foundation.
P.S. if you live in the Milwaukee area, Come to Pecha Kucha tomorrow night to hear my presentation on Teecycle entitled Web Marketing 2.0 for Broke People. The format is 20 slides each 20 seconds long, so boredom is an impossibility. And even if it was, you could just come for the amazing beer, since the event is being held at Sugar Maple. Event starts at 8 p.m. with lots of cool presentations, including one reportedly on styrofoam.
Also, big thanks again to model Littletinyfish, the illustrator who created the new Teecycle logo.

Polishfest — which kicks off Milwaukee’s famous festival season — is just several punchlines waiting to happen. I’m going to leave them all alone. “Get ready to see some weak chins,” Jess said as we entered the gates. Let’s Polishfest, everybody!

Meet Vera. She takes the tickets at Polish fest, but she’s Croatian. The Polish are not a prejudiced people.
Then it was off to get some Polish sausage:

That’s what she said: “Can’t a gal eat a sausage in peace?”
This dude said he bought his shirt off cafepress.com. (Though it’s not as cool as this one.) Hey, that reminds me. Teecycle now has a cafe press store. No shirts, though. That would defeat the purpose. Just thongs and stuff (don’t worry, that’s not used.)

We ended the night with a little paczkis action. That’s how I like to end all my nights.

Your paczkis are hanging out!
So long, Polishfest! We came, we saw, we didn’t get the t-shirt. We already have this cool Experience Manito-wish t-shirt, which is apparently a nearly 100-year-old camp in northern Wisconsin.

This shirt — which carries the date of August 1995 — is not the only Mueller Family Reunion T-shirt on the market. Evidently those Muellers are really fond of documenting their family reunions with T-shirts and blogs. Thanks to my friend Bone’s daughter Eleanor for being a surrogate Lil’ Mueller for this occasion.

As for the shirt, it’s four turtles who need no introduction, but I’ll do it anyway: Leonardo, Raphael, Michaelangelo and Donatello. Not pictured: Splinter and Shredder.
