The Battle Dress Uniform (BDU) is an optional uniform worn by USSF personnel on duty or during their off-duty hours. It consists of a women’s blue camo jacket and trousers (or skirt). A black leather jacket may also be worn over the BDU if desired. The uniform is completed with black shoes, socks, ribbons, and nameplates. BDUs are worn with rank insignia on both the shirt collar and shoulder boards.
4. Flight Suit
The Flight Suit (FS) is an optional uniform worn by USSF personnel while in flight. It consists of a blue flight suit with white trim and USSF insignia on the chest. The FS may also include a black helmet, goggles, and boots. The FS is completed with a blue satchel containing snacks, water, and other necessary items for long flights.
