Sometimes we all get bored with the same high-art classical literature manga. Sometimes all we need is a trashy comic to binge at two in the morning. Manga like Keep It a Secret from Your Mother isn’t really high-art classical literature or at the top of any lists, and it isn’t being recognized for its superb narrative with honors, but it is something that you occasionally require to read. There is no shame in enjoying some awful content if it gives you comfort reading.
But, some of them are nasty little pamphlets with little to offer, like Keep It A Secret From Your Mother. These stories can occasionally be well-written, with an actually interesting plot and characters who keep you interested in what occurs next. And occasionally, there are simply no excuses. Similar Mangas Like Keep it a Secret from your Mother
- Excuse Me, This Is My Room!
Who doesn’t enjoy a love relationship that makes them feel bad? The whole bullying thing may sound unsettling, but the comic “Excuse Me, This Is My Room!” manga conveys an ideal bawdy manhwa experience with a humorous twist.
Like, the plot actually progresses, you know? Although it could seem like the main character is a blank slate for us to paint on, his interactions with the female lead are engaging enough to keep us interested.
- My Girlfriend is My Stepmother
Consider the possibility that, yes, you do have mother issues. I’m only kidding, but if you liked the “Keep it a Secret from your Mother” manga then you’ll also like “My Girlfriend Is My Stepmother.”
The title of the book My Girlfriend Is My Stepmother contains the entire plot. Well, yes, it’s as trashy as they come, but what’s remarkable about this is that it begins with a lot more enemies-to-lovers relationships. which represents an intriguing shift from these adult manhwas. It at least gives the situation more character.
- Need You Right Now
I find it so uncommon when a manga is about positive adult relationships. Because of this, if you’re sick of the increasingly poisonous relationships we’ve come to observe, the “Need You Right Now” manga might be right up your alley.
But the storyline itself also exhibits this wholesomeness, with hardly any angst to be found. The plot of Need You Right Now is mild and unobtrusive, the artwork is lovely and it is as mild as a manga with sexual content can be.
- Runaway Family
When it comes to adult manga, is nothing frightful anymore? This was difficult for me to adjust to because one of my favorite tropes is found, family. Nevertheless, it might be worse, I suppose.
In the literal sense, Runaway Family is about a group of strangers getting together and making a home together. Yet romance also develops, as you would expect. Undoubtedly, it is scandalous. Also, I find this family to be a little too close but who am I to pass judgment, though?
- Lucky Guy
Another manga that doesn’t open with questionable approaches and bullying is Lucky Guy. Neither does one come out in the middle of the story as it is unprecedented!
Ultimately, Lucky Man is a love story without any conflicts and a dated but still charming mentor-mentee relationship. Also, the primary character in this manga seems strangely naïve for a spicy comic. Still, if something works, it works!
- Secret Class
Another one of those mangas that you should only read if you’re in a desperate situation to talk to women is this one. I’m kidding. (Or am I?)
Once more, Secret Class is mentioned in the title. Because our main character has never dealt with women before, mayhem occurs when he becomes orphaned at the age of 13 and is subsequently adopted by his father’s best friend. Someone can probably connect to this, I’m pretty sure.
- No More No Less
Likewise, relationships between mentors and mentees are a prominent theme in manga like these. But at least this one enhances the character considerably more than their exploits do!
In the movie No More, No Less, a teacher phones the class president and rambles on to him about all of her insecurities while intoxicated. Well, one thing leads to another. There is mayhem.
- Love Navigation
This one is my favorite because the main character isn’t trying to be some super-hot and in-demand guy. No, he is very pitiful.
Girls adore him because of this, though. Love Navigation elevates dating apps to a whole new level and creates a universe in which our main character may actually travel and discover that love interests can take many different shapes.
- Lady Long Legs
You don’t really give much room for the imagination with a title like that. But I guess that’s simply the way things are. Also, I suppose it is a role reversal since a powerful female character instead of a male one.
Lady Long Legs is pure wish fulfillment, and I can understand why it could be appealing to some people. Once more, not my style. But if it belongs to you, go ahead!
- Give and Take
Give And Take is yet another one of my favorite AO3 tags to come to life: A fake marriage. It’s debatably one of the better ones when it comes to the plot.
Happily, this one doesn’t have a harem, and for me, it adds to the spice. This is a fantastic story about two characters who fake a marriage only to develop feelings for one another over time. Shenanigans, humor, and a surprisingly large amount of heart are all present.
