1. Jaipur, Rajasthan

Sawai Jai Singh built Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan, in the 18th century. Jaipur is part of the Golden Triangle, along with Agra and Delhi, which tourists from all over the world visit for many reasons.

The original buildings of the city were painted pink when they were built. This was an imitation of the Mughal architecture that is mainly made from red sandstone.
