Everyone has that bad habit we do, some are obvious while others are hidden which is why we need to continue trying to watch the habits we develop and try to improve ourselves.
Bad habits are usually addictive in nature and hence, difficult to overcome. It requires constant self-disciplinary practices and great perseverance to finally eradicate them. While many people have ended up losing their lives because of their bad habits, some have made their bad habits become a storyline for others to learn from. Today, I will like to enumerate and discuss five bad habits you should stop doing in the bathroom especially those with a Water Closet (WC). The bathroom is a place for us to take our bath at the name implies or release the solid wastes though some people do their laundry here. So, let’s delve straight into the five habits you should stop in the bathroom.
- Singing and listening to songs: Without
being told you should know that talking or simply singing in the bathroom is a
very bad habit. However, the rate at which this act is being done by so many
people while bathing baffles me a lot. At times, you start to wonder if the
bathroom is some sort of a special studio with how delightful the person sings.
Health-wise, it is believed that you are exposing yourself to several diseases
by doing this. So, let’s try to put a stop to this habit. - Exhausting the toilet roll without a replacement at hand: Some things we do are simply not resources management but out of poor
decision making ability. The toilet roll should never be exhausted before you
get another roll. It is an emergency object in the bathroom in case you are not
aware of its importance before. Get extra packs the next time you go shopping. - Leaving the bathroom without flushing: This is one of the commonest inappropriate habits done by many of us
especially in public places. It is simply a shameful act although it could be
caused by forgetfulness. Nevertheless, we should endeavour to always flush the
water closet after visiting the bathroom. - Leaving the bathroom floor wet: Apart from
the disgusting odour this might produce, it is a very dangerous act. There have
been cases whereby people have lost their lives after slipping in the bathroom.
It is something that I will always advise anyone to avoid at all times. Once
you are done washing or relieving yourself, pick a mop and dry off the water on
the floor. - Using the bathroom for a long period: How do people even do this? It is such a surprising act but it is
being practised by some people. These people can use up to 3 hours to take
their bath. Sometimes, I expect them to might have turned white or wash away
their epidermis before coming out of the bathroom. This habit is not considered
healthy and definitely not backed by any culture.
